Matcha Bamboo Whisk - Brunette

Perfect your craft with clump free, and beautifully frothy matcha with our Matcha Bamboo Whisk 茶筅.

Crafted from purple bamboo, also known as black/dark bamboo, this gives our Matcha Chasen 茶筅 a unique look. It's meticulously woven with brown thread, making it a very sleek chasen to add to your collection.

As this is crafted from bamboo, natural marks in the bamboo will occur.

Directions:
Add one teaspoon of matcha to bowl along with 50mls of warm water. Whisk in M or Z motion vigorously until matcha has a frothy consistency. Pour this directly over ice, milk or simply add more water. Enjoy!

Maintenance:
At first use, soak your matcha bamboo whisk in hot water. It is normal to see the ends "uncurl". After each use, whisk in hot water the dry on a bamboo stand to preserve shape. Do not use soap or place in dishwasher. 

It is recommended to replace your chasen every few months dependent on how often you use it.
